REIT Awards 2009

Bushby First National won three major REIT Awards at the recent Gala Awards night held in Hobart.   The three awards won were the prestigious 2009 REIT Large Residential Agency of the Year Award, The Community Service Award and the Property Manager Award. 

 

Bushby First National has never sought Industry Awards in the past but with the move into our new state of the art building, our new fleet of corporate branded vehicles, the significant investment in training and technology and our ongoing commitment to helping the community, we felt it was time to put ourselves forward for these highly sought after awards.

 

2009 REIT Large Residential Agency of the Year Award

 

 

At Bushby First National, the aim is not to be the number one largest agency in Launceston, but to be the best at what we do. This award from the Real Estate Institute of Tasmania, the states Industry body is proof that we are indeed the best in our field.  Bushby First National has been driven by its mission statement:  Success Built on Trust.  That trust is a cornerstone of the business's achievements and cannot be understated as a core reason for the company's success.

2009 REIT Community Service Award

Bushby First National financial support for the community reflects the company and its employees’ commitment to helping others.  During the past 12 months Bushby First National raised more than $40,000.  Some of the charities that received donations were the Red Cross Victorian bushfire appeal, the K-mart’s Wishing Tree appeal, The Examiner Newspaper’s annual Christmas appeal – the Empty Stocking appeal and the First National Foundation.  We also provided funds to many sporting and arts organisations within the Launceston community.

In difficult financial times many organisations curtail their support for charitable groups, but Bushby First National find that these are the times when their support is most needed.

2009 REIT Property Manager of the year Award

To win this award is a testament to our hard working property management team's determination to be the number one Property Management Office in Tasmania.  The managment team at Bushby First National have always known that they have the best Property Management team and for the REIT to confirm this belief by awarding them the 2009 REIT Property Manager of the Year Award is the perfect accolade for the perfect team.

Bushby First National is excited about going to the REIA National Awards in April and hopes to be the first Tasmanian Agency to win at the National Level.
